EX Division Activities and Outreach
The EX Division is working toward a qualitative transformation of liberal arts education. We also disseminate information regarding these activities through events, newsletters, and books both on campus and externally.

First-year Seminar for Natural Sciences Students/Humanities and Social Sciences Students
This is the First-year Seminar in Literature and Science, a required foundation course for the first semester of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Early exposure courses
The program offers courses that expose students in the Junior Division of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to the research and professional knowledge of the university.

Spreading and Promoting Active Learning
Providing classroom support, disseminating information, and organizing events to support the introduction of active learning into the classroom.

Cutting-edge Technology Enhanced Education
Examining and disseminating the educational use of advanced technologies, such as generative AI, in terms of expanding their use to the classroom and the associated impacts.
